Mark Farrell, a carpenter from Cal State Long Beach Facilities Management, cuts into the basement walls in the Social Services and Public Administration building Tuesday morning. According to Farrell, the walls had to be dried out to prevent mold after moisture seeped into them during a rainstorm that swept through campus last weekend.
